While CCTV (closed-circuit television) has always been a
popular tool for solving crimes, it is now gaining use in preventing security
problems.
Here in the Philippines, people are now growing to be
dependent on CCTVs in solving crimes. In many other countries, though, the
priority is using CCTVs as an alarm system to alert people of an impending
crime, according to Jonathan Co of Faire Technologies Inc. “Wouldn’t it be more
helpful if we can stop a crime from happening,” he asked.
Faire Technologies, one of the largest distributors of
professional security surveillance solutions in the country, now highlights the
importance of pairing up a CCTV with an alarm systems. Its products are used in
retail, commercial, industrial, and government sectors.

establishments, homes, and industries for 18 years now. CCTV is just one of the
products in its portfolio. It also carries brands from Israel, Japan, Korea,
Taiwan, and the United States
“We have products that can cater to mid-end to the highest
end market,” Co said. “We can supply virtually across all vertical markets
depending on the budget of the customer and the complexity of their needs.”
Faire Technologies launched new products from HID, iProteq

security systems.
iProteq’s portable wireless alarm control panel is an all-in-one

real-time monitoring of iProteq panels and security devices. It can arm and
disarm the system from anywhere using a smartphone and web applications.
This system comes with an intelligent digital motion
detector. The digital full-area vision is able to distinguish between infrared
signals received from a human and those received from an animal.
Optex did a demonstration on Zoo, a fully integrated
cost-effective, professional-grade wireless security system. This alarm system has
a coverage of up to 12 meters and 90-meters wide. It can also be placed outdoor
and its Internet-based operation and surveillance can connect up to 12 cameras
